2012-2015

Diving head-first into design

I discovered graphic design in middle school art classes and deepened my skills in high school through Photoshop, coding, InDesign, and video editing.

2015-2018

Obtained associate’s degree

After graduating high school early, I earned an associate of art degree that gave me a strong foundation in Adobe Illustrator and sparked my love for typography.

2016-2020

First step into corporate work life

While earning my associate’s degree, I gained hands-on experience through a Chicago design internship—building catalogs, assisting photoshoots, launching an influencer program—and grew my passion further working part-time at a K-pop apparel store.

2018-2022

Graduating college

In 2021, I earned my bachelor’s in Graphic Design & Digital Media, joined a creative marketing agency where I expanded into web design and UX, and completed a UX certification from General Assembly.

2022 – present

Niching down

I now work as an SEO Consultant while honing my skills in website and branding design, and in 2024 began freelancing by creating brands for friends launching their own businesses.
